My Bookshelf

This is one of many bookshelves filled to the brim with some of my favourite children’s books. Many of these books are treasures from my childhood. Packed into my suitcase with loving care these stories and poems have been an important part of my childhood. I couldn’t bear the thought of leaving the likes of Shel Silverstein, Spike Milligan, Dr Seuss, Mordecai Richler and Farley Mowat to languish in some Canadian storage facility.

That just wouldn’t be right!

These books have journeyed with me across the pond and will always have a special place in my heart. There have been new acquisitions as well – and of course there will be many, many more to come!

I hope you enjoy dipping into their pages as much as I do.
